Re: robin in song

Almost perfect..you have the Robin on the third looking into the frame of the shot. the branches give nice lead in lines and added content/context, the focus, exposure, colour and saturation are all spot on.

My one niggle is the branch leading out of frame in the bottom left, I would clone just the last section of that so it doesn't go all the way out of frame.

EDIT I would also probably clone out the tip of the branch just popping up in the lower middle of the frame too

Re: robin in song

Sorry Monkey but the first is far better. By adding lots to the left, you have centralised the bird. It was perfectly positioned before, only the branches were what could have done with adjustment.

I have adjusted your first pic by cloning out the bits of branch we could do without. I have also slightly desaturated the leaves so that they are still colourful but not stronger than the bird which is our focus of attention. I adjusted contrast slightly with curves also.

Hope you like it:

Re: robin in song

thanks i like what you have done there..
i prefer the first myself but i thought i would let you see the original so you could see what i had done .
that big twig running through the birds body was a bit off putting imo.
and spoilt a half decent picture...
