Rockpools and a cannon

Drove out to Whitely bay today and took these two.
The light wasn't perfect but seemed to improve a bit as it got later.

I like the rockpools best. You can't expect a Nikon user to like a piccy of a cannon!

Seriously, though, the rockpools has loads of interest, great clouds and good composition. Because of that, it knocks spots off of the other one, which I find bland in comparison.

The lighting is a little flat with the sun being weakened behind the clouds, but there is probably the potential to tweak it a bit to liven it up.

haha, hadn't make the cannon connection before (Nikon user as well

)

I'm really pleased with the rockpools one - took 3 shots and merged them to make an HDR style image.
