Roseberry topping
This is a local land mark i shot a few weeks back. Iam still trying to learn how to use a camera. I dont have many problems with PS. Infact it was Steve Paxton's technique in PS that inspired me to go buy a camera. I now know that are many years of learning a ahead of me. The pro's make seem so easy.

Re: Roseberry topping
This takes me back! I used to live in Stokesley. Lovely shot of the hill, too. Maybe a touch of Auto Levels to boost the light a little
BTW, if you could make sure your pics are under 200k in the future (this coming in at 260k) as per Resizing Pictures for Pixalo . Thanks!

Re: Roseberry topping
lovely image and nice to see a landscape in portrait orientation for a change, agree with Mark needs just a tad lift to lighten a wee bit but otherwise to me its a cracking image!

Re: Roseberry topping
I have some beautiful shots of Roseberry Topping taken by the wonderful Joe Cornish whose landscapes are superb. It is kind of inevitable that I am going to look at other pictures of the same place alongside the ones I know already.....
So for a person just getting to know your camera and stuff, all I can say is: GREAT STUFF. Well done It isn't perfect, the lighting could be a bit more dynamic and things but that doesn't take away from the fact it's a nicely composed and taken image.Cheers, Rob |
