Ruddy Darter
Taken at the long end of a 100/400 mm lens hand held. The long lens blur and low view point has removed the distracting background. I am not sure whether I should have removed the bottom third of the picture. Comments good or bad appreciated.

Ahh, lovely shot! Not this year, surely? They're not around yet?
Think I might aim back towards a 3:2 and take a little off the top - puts dragon into the top 1/3rd with some nice space in front!

That's about as good as it gets.
If I were to make a suggestion it would be, clone out the cobweb on the lower right. That really is picky though! |

great detail
i think maybe try and see what it looks like with bit taken off top or , for that matter bit more off bottom . But you have definately nailed this .As for cobweb do agree maybe removing it ,only because if you do notice it you tend to keep being distracted .However really not a issue.
