Rufford Abbey

The monastery was dissolved in 1536. It became a country house in 1537 and was restored and extended. Since then it has decayed and is now a ruin.

Can anyone tell me why colours are creeping into the picture even though I converted to grey scale. When I print the colours are all neutral blacks. Thank you. John.

Nice shot

Not sure what you mean about "colours are creeping into the picture"......I certainly can't see any colour.

Re: Rufford Abbey

Thank you all for your replies. Yes I believe it probably is my monitor. It is an iMac OSX. It is only a few months old so I don't think it is worn out. It is probably not calibrated properly so I'll have another go. By the way there is only a hint of colours, green in the shadows and magenta in the mid-tones.

Re: Rufford Abbey

For those interested I have recalibrated my monitor and the colour casts have disappeared.
I must do this more often. Thank you.

John.
