Rufford Abbey
The monastery was dissolved in 1536. It became a country house in 1537 and was restored and extended. Since then it has decayed and is now a ruin.
Can anyone tell me why colours are creeping into the picture even though I converted to grey scale. When I print the colours are all neutral blacks. Thank you. John.

Re: Rufford Abbey
I don't see any colours either. Great shot though, what an amazing place! Looks good in BW for sure. Tis a bit spooky...I half expect a lightening bolt to shoot down any second.

Nice shot
Not sure what you mean about "colours are creeping into the picture"......I certainly can't see any colour. |

Re: Rufford Abbey
Thank you all for your replies. Yes I believe it probably is my monitor. It is an iMac OSX. It is only a few months old so I don't think it is worn out. It is probably not calibrated properly so I'll have another go. By the way there is only a hint of colours, green in the shadows and magenta in the mid-tones.
