First one better. But it seems like the focus is a bit soft. I know, it is very difficult to focus on (presumably) a rapidly moving object going across your frame.
Also, and partially because of the focus, one doesn't really get a feeling of the agony and intensity of the runner. Also, if you could have gotten his legs and feet, it would have given a much better feeling of the run. Oops, maybe I critiqued too much for this forum, but I know that you do present images in the critique section too, so I hope that you don't mind. skip |

Just to go against the flow, I think if I was the runner, I would love a copy of that second one. Whilst it is in the style of a graphic, it is clearly recognisable as that person so would make a cracking print for his wall.
Yes, the first is a tad too soft, entirely understandable in the circumstances. But hey, show the runner and let us know what he thinks :o) Cheers, Rob |
