Seven
A "sniped" shot of our son, taken yesterday afternoon.
I realise the shot has focussed beautifully on his fringe, but I had to get the shot and get out of the way before he bit me!!  I'm also going to tone down his earring a little, he's very happy when people notice it, but at the moment it's a bit bright!!  Can you see anything else I can do to improve it?  Nice shot but could have been a bit sharper onthe face - unless you intended it to be soft overall. |

Thanks! No the intention wasn't for "soft", it really was whip the camera up to my face and shoot!!

A super shot Cathie.,....what an expression he has!! I agree about toning down the earring, it does catch the attention a bit, other than that it's great! I'm no expert on post-processing so will leave that to the experts.

works for me too, I likethe effect of the focus being on the fringe. I guess a bit of burning on the earring should sort the little bit of glare out...

Thanks everybody!
Connor really is sick of me taking his photo.  He will be able to turn the tables on Wednesday, after using a third hand Kodak 1 megapixel brick for a year, the grandparents are buying him a Canon A430 for his birthday!! He's ready to step up too, after saying the magic words - "This camera just doesn't do what I need it to", which in his case is zoom of any description!! |
