Sheffield Hallam Warriors vs Leeds Celtics.

Was my first game under floodlights which weren't very good.

I had to shoot ISO 3200 with the average shutter speed of 1/125 sec so I didn't get much chance of freezing the action apart from shooting the cheer leaders at half time

Not what I was hoping for but here is a selection.......

This ref took some stick and think he was hitching a ride home here....

I took to trying a bit of panning....

Even with all that padding.......

These are nice especially considering the not-so-good conditions... but where are those cheerleaders you promised in the introduction?

Sorry mate I've just looked through them and they all either have camera shake or the lens has steamed up......it was a very cold night

are you sure you had camera shake from the cold

when shooting the cheer leaders

Good effort considering the conditions. As for the lens steaming up or camera shake.... are you sure that was down to the weather?

All look pretty good, did you use any noise remover

spent many a night watching the boy's play, liked the talk about not enough light and fog and cold night air, if your pictures tell a story like that, they'll produce a chill when viewed so much the better.

Yes Boofers I used noise remover as they were all shot @ iso 3200.

Thing is I think it washed out the colour of the kit cause they don't play in that colour

I've used neat image before and didn't know it could change or tint the colors, Don't tell anyone, but I use noise ninja a lot and haven't seen it change the color,,interesting, maybe a slight shift when color balance if it was done.
