1st one is a great abstract & the dark moody , gritty feel of shot #2 is spot on for the scene

Thanks for the comments, I did try to square the shot up when taking it but could not get perpendicular to the skylight.
Dave the old Gaol is dark and gritty, so I am glad I was able to convey it in the image.

I also agree with stepheno and think the first one should be squre to the frame. If you wish to do this conversion now you could achive the result by using the skew function in Photoshop.

The black and white conversion on the second shot really suits the subject well
