LOL at the comments, you had people worried thinking they were about to have tonnes of snow dumped on them

The first shot is great but could be improved with just a little attention in one of the image editing soaftware packages, increase the saturation slightly and also add a little sharpening. That will make the bust stand out from the background and draw your attention to the focal point much more.

Do you have either Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro? If not both can be downloaded as a free time limited trial, and Paint Shop Pro is much cheaper to buy at a later date just for referance. Give both a try and have a look at the tutorial section of the forums for some walkthroughs of the basics to get you started.
