Re: some hdr some not
These images all, with the exception of the two rasta ones, are harsh + unflattering in the extreme, + they say nothing to me except "I'm an angry artist".
However, I really like the two rasta ones. I like the colours + effects you applied with your processing of the first one. It is the only image here that reflects happiness. And I like the simplicity + natural texture of the 2nd one. Both of these are very well done |

Re: some hdr some not
Love the last one, the mono. Works great. I still can't figure this stuff you do to the others so it isn't really fair for me to judge those. I hate that look but that is not about the technique, it is about my taste being different to yours, that's all.
If I ever meet that woman in the first shot, I am gonna become an Olympic athlete with the speed I'll be running away! <g> Cheers, Rob |

Re: some hdr some not
I like the fourth and the last one. I'd like to see this type of processing applied to non-portrait images, such as urban scenes. I think you'd get some very appealing results.

Re: some hdr some not
Likewise no 4 and the last one for me. I think its interesting what austro said about applying similar techniques to non portrait images, could come up with some interesting results!!

Re: some hdr some not
Number four from the top for me, the rest are still in work, maybe not the last one, it is OK. But number 4 is pretty expressive and very well done, like it all just fell in place. Good for you and the colors you splatter.

some pix start out just right some pix are enhanced by single hdr the rasta was one thanks for all your replies ps if your using photomatix to do a single when its a raw file you can just open it and it will convert to hdr in the proccess then you have the option of using either conversion method to edit it to 8 or 16 bit ![]() |
