Some pictures from Toronto.
Hello folks!
Well, finally I get to Toronto for this business trip and I shot some pictures I want to share, this is the first time I shot more "urban" trying to capture the life in this city, any comments are welcome. Starting with this Jedi...  Some chess at the park...  PD. Jewel, sorry I didn't PM you, but was kind of a hurry this trip, at the office they told me thursday night that on friday I was traveling to Toronto! Will be here till next friday. |

Hey your on business, no worries about PM'ing me Pablo,lol. Looks like an intense chess game going on there,lol. I like the last one as well. Nice shots! Where bouts you staying by the way?

YES! That Chess game was impressive, I watch 2 or 3 games, they play really fast against time, 5 minutes of play each player. But I feel very unconfortable taking them pictures, so I just take 2 or 3, this one was the closest one.
The weekend I stay in a little hotel near Bathurst St and Queen St, , (only I found at good price in the hurry to get here, reserved the same day) but tomorrow I move in to SoHo Metropolitan at Wellington and Blue Jays Way, 2 blocks from CN and Skydome, to spend the rest of the week. May be on saturday I will visit Niagara, but I still don't know, depends on the work. Cheers! |

I think the chess and street stuff would work better in B&W and with a bit more contrast. But then you could put forward the counter-argument that to process them in this way would just be copying all the other street stuff out there. I just think the colour looks a bit flat so should either be boosted (if there is any interesting colour in the frame) or removed completely.

Some very interesting angles in those shots. You don't need to go to Niagara Falls right now. The rain here is relentless at moment! Hope you find time though, it's really spectacular to see (especially if you've never been before).

Yes, today was raining all day long, I've been to Niagara last year, but I want to go again in a different time of the year, but if the weather still bad, may be I'll spend that money on Downtown camera instead hehe. But the office partner with one I'm traveling haven't go to Niagara, so it's first time here. May be I'll end going.
The same with the CN tower, go up in this weather to see nothing more than clouds and gray... doesn't worth it I guess. Today I upload more photos to my site www.pablopuga.com.mx today i decided to visit the subway, path, and R. Ontario Museam, so I have another shots. I will try this photos in B&W if I like them I'll post it here, thanks for the reco
