Some Portraits.

A friend of mine asked me to take some shots of their boys for Xmas pressies, not done much portrait stuff, so took them all off to the derelict church, along with my protesting son and his guitar for a Grandma Christmas pressie. It was a great morning, very cold, frosty and foggy. The niche my lad is standing in is a bit over head height and the ledge was a bit narrow and slippy, so took a bit to get him up there and balanced.

1- Dad & Sons

2 - Just the Boys

3 - My Lad

Re: Some Portraits.

Thanks for the comments, I chose the windows for them to sit in, but left it to them to make themselves comfortable where they wanted to sit (mostly! As one of the suggestions was to sit in the car in the warm), so that hopefully they would look natural (well as natural as teenage boys can look when being photographed )
I got their Dad to buy the t-shirts as they typically have nothing plain, only stuff with comments and bands on. But the oldest boy had a black jumper and insisted on wearing it. the other 2 are very out door types who weren't too bothered. If you look closely though, you can see a black rug for them to sit on so as not to get piles

These are nice pics, I liked the second one best. They all looked natural and happy. Good job!

Re: Some Portraits.

Thanks for the comments. Willow,I've known the eldest for 12 years now, so they know to behave or else even though they are all now much, much bigger than me.
