Like the tight crops on some of these shots.....adds real impact. Light is great on 1st shot, just a shame the eyes are shut. Overall great set of shots. TFS

I like the shot of Darren Riley because it has a bit of space around it. The runner has obviously run from a space and is running into a space so it is good to let the picture do that.

Having said that, the crops also work as 'portraits-in-situ' so I am not moaning that they are tight cropped, they work well in the shots you have taken so all together you have a decent set of shots there, some of the best of the three sets I have seen thus far. Well done.

Thank you both for your comments. We are about halfway through the X/C season, I am hoping to use the rest of the season to practice and improve my technique and then move on to track and field events next year, where there should be a bit more variety.
