Southport Airshow
Here is a selection of my photo's from last weekend. There is more to come, but I'm still busy processing them.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments are welcome. I came home with about 600 piccies after those 2 days, only to find I had lots of dust on all the photo's from those *bliep* helicopters

Re: Southport Airshow
Yes your right GSGary. I have got more. But it was really hard to get them sharp. Next time better. I do have a nice panning example which has worked out really well.
Could it not have been the lens at full 300mm, which makes it soft? |

Re: Southport Airshow
Yes I will do. And not that i've noticed. But it was cloudy as well. I'll have a root through my other photo's. Cause i'm not totally convinced it's the lens.
I've got another one, which is a nice example of panning. That was my main task for the weekend. Boy o boy, that is difficult. Most of the times I went to a very fast shutterspeed, otherwise I wouldn't have had any good ones Those yets are fast, I tell ya ![]() ![]() Nikon D200, F20, 1/50, iso 100 and 300mm. So it's not the lens that gives me soft images. It's me who needs more practise
