I changed my line of work last September, and once I got into it I've been loaded with work. Really enjoy this new work so I'm not that bummed I don't get more time with my camera.

This is my first weekend off in quite a while and I just had to bring my camera along for the ride today. I have a thing for birds (I guess most guys do) and when I got out of the store I was at this fella was waitin' for me.

Posted this in sharing and not in critique , but please, if you have suggestions and opinions, I'd love to hear them. Honest critique, bad and good, is always appreciated. Don't hold nothing back

I like the light in the eyes, and the way the bird stands out from the background. Somehow the background is mysterious without being distracting. Good shot

How are the colors and light? My monitor isn't calibrated so it's hard to tell. Just play, and hope it looks OK.

What an expression on this bird

I like the background as it looks like a larger set of wings. Maybe thats what this little bird it hoping for...larger wings

You did well to get a catchlight in both eyes despite them being very small. It's got something a bit different here, not the typical type of bird shot, well done

I'm always around, but a bit too busy to post unfortunately. I just had to make time for this shot. Just got home from a 14hour day, and back on in the morning . Still I love my job .
