Spring is almost here...

I was playing with the wireless capabilities of Nikon CLS and a light tent. I don't usually do flowers but it seems to have come out okay. No PP except for web sharpen, re-size and border.

And the lighting set up:

You have nailed this one - The composition and lighting are spot on, and the keyline border is just so right.

Nice layout Hacker, thanks for sharing, it's good to see the how the light shows up on the flower. These are pretty much the first flower to come out around here, it's nice to know spring is almost here,,

Lovely shot Hack, central trumpet a tiny bit soft but maybe that just adds to the strength of the sharp surrounding petals. Beautiful lighting, very strong and superb complementary colours between the blue and yellow.
