Spring Fever - taking a break from gardening
Spring fever must have got to me and had a day in the garden - now suffering!
Spotted the butterfly and got distracted in the spring sunshine. ![]() Three of these about ![]() Only noticed the leaf beetle on screen! ![]() Quince - neveer seems to stop flowering all year. ![]() More pollen collecting ![]() Brightening up dark corners ![]() more exotic cousins ![]() A wiry ground cover that I always forget the name. Been sworn at by goldfinches and chaffinches as i was disturbing their usual attack on the feeders. ![]() Violets spreading int the lawn.

Re: Spring Fever - taking a break from gardening
Some lovely colour in there, Fangman. The butterfly doesn't suit being against such a busy background. I can't see why, from the exifs, but all images look very soft to me, no sharpness about them

Re: Spring Fever - taking a break from gardening
Things warming up nicely (albeit somewhat early!) and I'm just hoping there was a massive surplus of butterflies (OK, caterpillars/chrysalises!) from last year as the butterflies seem to have appeared all through the winter
