Spring is sprung
Seeing all the macro shots on the forums inspired me to have a go myself - it's not anything I've done a lot of before but I thought I'd have a go....
*edit* And STILL I can't make it show an image......can a passing Admin delete this please! Sorry! |

 Now everybody can see what a nice sharp lady she is! Click on the little yellow envelope thingy above - paste the "location" in the box that comes up and leave the rest to Matty and the gang! I needed training a month or so back! Last edited by Fangman; 03-04-2006 at 00:38. |

Fangman beat me to it but to explain what he did...
The problem was that you were copying the image location link from the wrong section I think. So although you had got the [img] tags correct the link was wrong. Are you using IE or Firefox as in firefox to get the correct link you have to right click on the image, select properties and then copy the address from the bottom section, not the top as I think you may have been doing HTH |

EDIT..there may be a problem with the place you are hosting the picture preventing hotlinking. I can see it currently as I have been to the site to get the link and in doing so my browser has downloaded and stored a copy of the image in my cache, if others can still not see it that could be a reason why.
If you have not already, drop Matty a PM and request a free gallery here, that way we can definately sort out getting the images shown for you

Steve, OK - I'll do that then thanks - it was just a case of getting over the feeling that "all these peoples shots are brilliant and mine aren't worthy!!". My usual browser is Opera but webshots (which I use for all my speedway stuff as it is easily accessible to nearly everyone) isn't currently Opera-compliant for uploading. I was using IE on that occasion but I did indeed copy the link from the address bar at the top!
Keltik Ice Man - I read the critique on yours and took notes! Yours was a lot closer than mine though and accordingly showed a lot more detail - possibly a tougher shot to get right!Thanks for the kind comments anyway!
