That's a very tranquil scene and also something of a revelation! I've never been to Lewis but I'd always thought there were no trees!

There are a few Hebridean islands with no trees,or next to none.Barra,Coll and Tiree spring to mind.But Harris-Lewis is a very large island and has some forestry plantations as well as patches of mixed stuff,like this one at Stornoway Castle.I never spent long here and the southern part of the island [Harris] looked the more mountainous and photogenic,to my eye at least .
