Strange Building
Took this today whilst out and about in Staffordshire. This building is in a village called Tixall, and what a strange building it is.
and a church in a little place called Colwich, just off the A51 |

Looks almost out of place - I would have tried to get the shot with the complete tree to the right if possible, gives a great sense of scale. Shows how big that building must be.
Tixall Gatehouse Scroll down a little. Heres some more info Sounds like its actually occupied. Great find |

Here is another picture, with the tree in full view. It does give a sense of scale but I think I prefer the first.

Agree, I think the first is the better shot - quality wise its definately sharper and the colours are more vibrant.
I do think the compostion of the final one is better overall though. |

It's difficult to get everything right isn't it
I think the second one might be a bit wonky too

Second version by a country mile for me i reckon. Maybe just crop out the Pylon on the left and have a go removing the cables. You can easily mimic the colours on the first for the second if thats what draws you to it. I still prefer the look of the colours in the second (slightly warmer). May also make a good B&W.
