In the street
I'd taken a couple of sly shots of these two chatting, then he noticed me just as she planted the kiss.
This was at a protest meeting:

Re: In the street
Good shots, a tad overexposed but nicely processed to mono

Re: In the street
I don't know how you feel about a close crop on #1. I also ran it through Noiseware

Re: In the street
It's funny, most of my shots tend to be tighter on the subject, much like your crop, and people tell me to give the subject more space, allow it to breathe, etc. It's a subjective choice, and I prefer mine.
I'd have to disagree about the exposure, also - The main subject is exposed correctly; I chose to allow the background to wash out to achieve that. |

Re: In the street
A good couple of candid shots - personally I prefer the 2nd (tho be tempted to burn back that bright face in the middle BG)
Nothing wrong with the first but looks more portrait-like (not too sure of Stephen's crop which emphasises that - think it needs the arms/hands but maybe slight crop of LHS) |

Re: In the street
Nice shots - I think the first one needs some cropping - maybe half way between yours and Stephens.....IMHO

Re: In the street
That is just a great shot (1), talk about freezing a moment. Love it! The second is good, but I think the first just steals the show. Also love the cropped version, but I do like a good crop.
