Sunlight and Water

With the water restrictions in place, we can only water our garden with a hand held hose on Saturday's between 5 and 8 pm. At that time the sunlight comes through the trees just so ....and is only revealed when the water is sprayed over it.

Ok I have resized - had to make it a lot smaller.....

Re: Sunlight and Water

Cool shot - I really like it

Not a huge amount happening on the far left, but I love the effect of the water and light in the rest of the image. Especially where the light falls on the leaves and their colour really catches in the sunshine.

Re: Sunlight and Water

I agree with Ali, this is a terrific shot! and that the LHS doesn't add much, especially as the leaves are so much darker (with no sunlight falling on them). Also the burnt highlights toward the top of the picture could easily be fixed with a bit of cloning.

Excellent work Willow, well done!

Edit: Forgot to add my suggestion to fix re LHS which is simply to crop about 3" off the LHS. On 2nd thoughs, this would actually take some oomph out of the shot I think, so a play in (photoshop) might brighten those dark leaves up.

Yep!

No biggie, just an oversize shot... the limit is 300kb, so if you could keep all future shots posted within this size that'd be great.

Thanks for those comments Charlotte. Now I have sorted out the size I'll have a look at your suggestions but not sure my editing skills are up to the task yet.

Thanks - I didn't realise the rule still applied if pics were uploaded elsewhere but I do now!
