Sunrise 'n Snow

Taken during the recent snow

#1 Sunrise 'n Snow
Managed to stagger the 100m from the house to get this

#2 Sunrise, Snow 'n Sheep
Despite feeling pleased with myself for making the effort and going out into the cold bright and early, the farmer had already been there, so these sheep had full stomachs!

#3 Sunrise, Snow 'n Tree

#4 Dog on The Roaches.....
..... with Shuttingsloe (the 'Matterhorn' of Staffordshire) in the background
A walk outside of the dreaded sunset time (when every 'tog in the area arrives to take yet another 'Roaches sunset' - and yes, includes me on another day!)

#5 Tittesworth Spectator
Tittesworth Reservoir (at the foot of The Roaches)

Feel free to comment on any aspect - appreciate all feedback

Thanks, P-E, and well, ummm, a little while ago (like beginning Feb, according to EXIF!) but seems only a couple of days ago!

Yeah, there is noise there, sadly! Canon. 'Nuff said!

Re: Sunrise 'n Snow

Hello Mark,

My favourite is '#5 Tittesworth Spectator', weird sculpture [statue?] but I like it And second favourite is ‘#1 Sunrise 'n Snow‘, I like the overall 'feel' of the colours if that makes sense so it was worth the stagger!

I was going to comment/rate in the gallery rather than the thread, but it doesn‘t look as if you can when the shots are in photo share

Re: Sunrise 'n Snow

Cheers, Clare. It is a slightly unusual, I guess statue, and looks good both in closeup and full shot. I deliberately prevented comment (it's a option at upload) in the Gallery as I prefer to get all the discussion in one place
