Sunset

Havent had time for much phorography what with the wedding etc so just as I walked home tonight I felt I had to grab this from the bottom of our garden. Sums up the sky most of the time around here. nothing much done, cloned out a leccy pole and cropped and shadowed.

Some lovely colour there! And the silhouettes work well (tho' there's too much black for me along the base! Trim 1/2-2/3rds?)

I did crop off quite a bit at the bottom as it has lots of garden but will try more

Yep nice one, but I think if you're gonna have that border the white needs to be on all sides, otherwise it unbalances the tones of the actual image.

Perhaps a tad more off the bottom as well.

I've heard the same advice on sunsets,,,

,,,but I like all the black on most of um', I for one will continue to shoot at large the black of night,,,just like you,,,nice one.

White? it was done on a transparent background, are you seing something Im not?

Er...well I can see the drop-shadow border to the left and bottom, with a bit of white after that, but nothing on the other two sides...

yep so can i...........see the white border...... agree with the other comments about being too much black at the bottom otherwise its a cracking iamge with a lovely firey red to the sky,.

Better! And yeh if you use a transparent background is defaults to white

Well Ill remember that for next time however I cannot see any white on my PC, must be a browser thing.
