Taken yesterday evening in a field near, er, Whitley Bay...

I like both very much but prefer the first.
I think that the bird is not adding anything to the image though. If it was totally in focus and had a very defined shape it would work better, however its very easy on that picture to clone it out. |

Thanks guys. The bird was an accident - I only saw it when I looked at the shot on the LCD. It's a Swift and it must have been! I've extracted it and I think the picture is much cleaner...
