Really like the top one, although it looks like it could do with a little more 'snap' to me. Did you adjust the contrst/curves yet?

Very impressive
Well done to capture the light rays coming through the clouds in such perfect locations , as I always find I see them when I'm driving in the car without the camera , or have these been added afterwards ?

Actually that brings me to a question I meant to ask about light rays... Do polarisers make them stand out more or do they have the opposite effect?
Basically, what's the best technique to make them stand out vividly? |

Thanks for the comments, wouldn't know how to add them after the shot
Not yet sussed the curves thing yet, so no adjustment there. I did have C/P and nd4 filters on in these shots, I did take shots without the nd4 filter but have'nt got round to processing them yet. Don't know if the nd4 or C/P has any relavance to the rays or not. Thanks again. Ken. Last edited by KenCo1964; 07-10-2005 at 11:52. |

I'd be interested to see the rest of the shots you took without the ND filters, to see how they compare.

I like them too.
Give LCE (Local Contrast Enhancement) a whirl. I think it would really give these a boost. |
