Ok,no real 'point of interest' here but I just liked the sort of bands of colour

i like this and can see what you "saw" in it.......... where is it? somewhere near haddington?

Great combo of colours. Think you needed to be a little closer to broaden the bands and maximise the potato 'lines'...... or a little more height. Or use that sky a little more (it's marching in from the right and looks as if it could've been "borrowed" for a lead-in).

Worth their weight in gold them spuds, what with all the ones rotting in the ground where there's been flooding!

the bare patch before the field is a bit distracting for me. Perhaps crop the bottom. After that I really like the shot. colours , lines and the clouds . Good one

Fiona,5 miles or so past Longniddry there are loads of wee single track roads [in fact East Lothian is 'riddled' with these wee roads] excellent for cycling,and photographs!Keep the Cornwall coming Fiona,I have never been there and it looks lovely.
Markulous,agree.A higher viewpoint would have been better I can see now.The annoying bit is I was actually leaning on a fence when I took the shot!!

. It would have given me an extra 3feet in height.Need to get back on my bike for a replay!!

hi ohn, dont worry i wont run out of Cornwall pics. being a native of East lothian ( born and bred, just dont live there any more!) i know u are spoiled for choice for your wee side roads etc.

Musselburgh wasn't it ?.The Lothians are nice,though having lived in Ballachulish from the ages 14-28 I was spoiled for scenery but not interested in taking photos

yep...... the honest toun itself, and the family are still there ( which may be why i moved! lol)
i spent a huge amount of my childhood up in the north west highlands cos my grandparents lived there, now kick myself at all the missed opportunities. guess we can all relate to that story in one way or another tho.
