Very nice shots Pete, only problem i have with the first one, is it looks like the highlights are blown on the tops of its wings, and head.
Its eye is wonderfully sharp though and you did well getting down to its height and getting it from that angle The 2 additions are nice too

Excellent shots Pete, might not be the obvious choice, but I really like the third shot - gives an excellent demonstration of how big these birds really are
Second would have been brilliant if only the wing tips hadnt blurred, but the speed those birds fly at its a case of take the shot when ou can I guess. Well Done

These creatures are so majestic aren't they! I really like shot 1 for the subject. The second pikkie I think is great. I love the way its caught the motion of the wings but the birds head is in focus. fantastic use of DOF. I think the fact the wings are not in focus adds to the idea of speed and draws you to the birds face and its look of sheer focus as it whips through the sky......
