Returned recently from helping my son move to Texas to take his first "real job". We spent a few days touring west Texas and thought I'd share these shots:

West Texas wildflowers on the side of the road just east of Lorado:

The riverwalk is a pedestrian walkway lined with shops and restaurants in San Antonio Texas that follows a diverted section of the San Antonio river through the middle of town. On a hot Texas afternoon, this is a great place to stroll in the cool shade:

Yup...the cactus shot is very good. Most of us don't get to see that.

Just learned that the wildflowers in the first shot are called Indian Blanket flowers by the locals - couldn't be more appropriate with the bright red and yellow.
