A few shots from todays Cycling Time trial , where it was great to meet up with Whipspeed & Dave Canon. Also 1st time trying out 1D MKII.

Nice shots Dave. I like #1 and it would also work well if there were many different riders too. #2 suffers from your being on the 'wrong' side of the road so the rider is looking into the corner and away from you, although you have caught him well. #3 is best for me.

Liking #1 for it's interest - #3 looks good from a detail POV but it's a bit too static for me

I really like the first as it is different from what has been posted here before. It looks as if it would have taken a lot of work in photoshop or did you have a quick way of doing this ?

Considering the conditions these all look very good, what lenses and what settings then.

Good shots Dave, although I think the panning ones could do with more 'pan' as it were, and there appears to be a slight pinkish cast to the sky and then presumably the whole shots in the last ones

Not that long. 14 shots as layers, then mask back the riders beneath You can be quite rough with masking as background is same behind rider , apart from where the riders overlap

Sarah explained a nice flat road was better for panning as the riders stay level. On the hill they were up & down as well as side to side. I know Sarah & Dave C spent more time with panning than I did, so I am sure they caught some good ones

Pinkish hint to sky is by me putting WB to "cloud" setting to warm up colours a bit..... even though it was overcast

good set Dave #1 looks like good fun - my type of shot. I like the view and angle of #3
