Re: Three colour variations

I quite like the sepia version, the simplicity of taking away the colour makes you concentrate on the curve of the path.

Re: Three colour variations

Thank you so much. I have a pretty hard times to decide which one of those last two i will use. I like the B&W because of the mood and Sepia one because it gives nice emphasis to the shape of path

Re: Three colour variations

I think the sepia one works well. Might be worth trying an "orton" type effect with this, might come out well (search it on here if you missed the billion threads about it ). Good spot for shape though

I do like the B&W, but I think the sepia just has the edge for me

Re: Three colour variations

Hope you don't mind me being honest.......The first 3 shots really don't do anything for me, firstly there isn't really any focal point....nothing to keep my attention, the b/w & sepia is a bit dull/dark and as with all loosing detail in the shaded areas. However the b/w-sepia mix really does help me with the shot, allowing me to pick something out to focus on and follow. The shaded areas no longer bother me helped by the sepia pathway and those wonderful curves.

The only thing I could suggest would be to tone down the sepia path (IMO)

Thank you, its done with layermask having two layers, black and white as background layer and sepia as above layer. Layer mask is filled with black and then with white brush i brushed the wooden path until sepia started to be visible again
