Thule

Ok, the first isn't Thule, just a forced stop along the way. We had to divert due to weather.

Sunderstrom, a small town of about 200 people. Busy airport though, and I liked the reflection.

About 15km was as close as I could get, but this thing is huge.

I liked the framing and the fog. All piping here in Thule is above ground.

Re: Thule

Love the bleakness in #2 and that framed mountain in #3 amongst all the steam!

Seems to be quite a setup there!

Re: Thule

Just some fog rolling in. About 10 minutes after I took #3, the mountain was gone.

Re: Thule

Ayep, and it's still firmly anchored to something. Wind gusting to 75kts didn't budge it. One day the bay was clear, then 2 days of heavy wind and it's full of ice again.. just like how you see it there.
