Time Warp?
Here are three mono conversions of shots taken with an S602 Pro last summer. This is a department store in Zagreb called NAMA which really hasn't moved with the times, rather quaint, so I thought them suitable for a bit of mono. Any comments and crit welcome. TFL

Re: Time Warp?
Nice reminder that the S602 will give some great detail! Think that first would benefit from perspective correction as the pillars are a bit distracting

Re: Time Warp?
As stated above great detail and a great conversion to mono.
I must admit I prefer the old department stores to the new ones. |

Thanks guys.

Yes...I'm always glad I never sold it. It's a great camera for travelling light. You know perspective correction is always something I miss

Re: Time Warp?
Love these and I am DELIGHTED that this store hasn't 'moved with the times'. That hopefully means it is still a store where you get genuine personal service from staff who know what they are talking about but who remember that they are overheads and you are profit!
There is an old shop down Poole High Street, the oldest shop in Poole, called Boones, a hardware store. What a pleasure it is to shop there! It's only small yet it sells everything. The staff all where brown workman's overalls or jackets and they call everyone Sir or Madam. You can go in there and ask for a special type of screw (behave, this is a lovely store!) and they will hunt for ten minutes to see if they can find one. After all that they sell you it for 10p and still say 'Thank you so much sir' when they say goodbye! Now THAT is how shops should be... and I couldn't give a stuff if that makes me old fashioned! Cheers, Rob (But you can call me sir if you want <g>)

Re: Time Warp?
I think I know that shop, Rob. Going North on the High St, it's on the RHS, right?
