Re: Tom and Lynn E-Session

I agree, I love No 1 and No 3. No2 would be better if we could see just a little of his eyes as well as hers. I am not quite sure of the point the last pic is trying to make. it sort of contradicts itself: the couple looking lovingly towards each other yet with a mile of separation between them without any obvious reason (other than posed)

I couldn't work ut what it is I don't like about No 4 at first, obviously not the look between them which is lovely. Eventually I sussed it, it's their jackets! They are both dark and clashing together and not hanging down which is giving Lynn a rather unflattering shape.

What a lovely couple and I bet they will be wanting these off you Sp

Cheers,
Rob

Re: Tom and Lynn E-Session

No.2 and 4 for me. I prefer the couple looking at one and other. I am not keen about 1 with the man looking at he lady but she is smiling at the photographer. Shame about the burnt out hair but I guess the conditions were not easy and you could not do much about it. As for 5 - sorry not for me.

On the other hand I try not to take pictures of people so what do I know.

Cheers Rob for the comments - the last one was just artistic license which missed the mark

You're one of the few - I'll attach the same one without blur and see what you think

Thanks for the input - I think the hair is a factor of the processing

Prefer the processed version ... not so clinical.

Re: Tom and Lynn E-Session

I prefer the unprocessed version. Mainly as the is hair is not burnt out and there is some detail in the clothing instead of them looking solid black.

Re: Tom and Lynn E-Session

Let me have a quick guess - just setting myself up tp be totally wrong

Some reasonably heavy pushing of the curves using individual channels and then some light bluring of a heavily feathered selection of the outside of the image.
