Two atlantic view sunrises from Ocean County
I got back from my eleven day vacation on Sunday and I've only just skimmed the surface of the 600 or so shots that I took - so far, these two are at the top of my personal favourites.
  Both shots D2X, 17-55mm DX lens @ 17mm, ISO 100, 1/200 sec handheld. WB was set to Tungsten to enhance the blue of the sky. I'll post more shots as and when I can, assuming that I find more that merit doing so. |

Lovely light and colour- prefer #2 if only because I can't quite identify the objects in the FG of #1

Both cracking shots, but there's just something about the sky in #1.

These are super! I find the titles a little distracting where they are but, that's really a minor point!!

Thanks to all - yes, the trip was a fun one; shooting the sunrise was just one of the highlights for me.
@Geir: the foreground objects in #1 are basalt rock formations not unlike those at Giant's Causeway in Ireland. |

Both are o.k but if you could remove your 'copyright' watermark or make it smaller would be better. Because its really disturbing our eyes to focus on the photos.

Speaking as a person who has had my work ripped off in the past, I can tell you that's not going to happen: I need to strike an acceptable balance between sharing my work and protecting it and, as far as I'm concerned, that's what I'm doing. The large copyright symbols might not be to everyone's personal taste but they do their job well enough. |
