Two of my photographs.....

..have been selected to be used as postcards for Wimbledon Common!!

It took me a bit by surprise but a nice one all the same!

This one you will have seen as it was my entry for the "Reflections" theme

And this is the second, which I'm almost embarrassed to put up here because it really isn't the best photo ever taken, but the bosses liked it and as I get paid £50 per picture, I am not complaining!!

The 1st one is really nice and has a calming effect (well on me anyway)
Afraid I cant see the 2nd as im just getting a dreaded red x

Cheers Angela, can see it know, another nice shot but I cant help thinking that the 2nd one may have looked a little better with the windmill just offset slightly, but hey youve sold it so what do I know, oh and congratulations

Still giving that one some thought! Any suggestions for an essential piece of kit that I really should have?

Ohhhhh... plenty!!

Towards a new lens
A tripod
Towards a flash unit
Selection of filters
A good camera bag
etc. etc. the list goes on

...or maybe get a couple of favourite shots enlarged, a couple of nice frames to put them in and get them up on your wall, so you can enjoy the fruit's of your labour... something we often forget to do

Already got a hippy but the Bushmills sounds like a very good idea - one of my favourites but OH is more likely to get through it before I get a look in!!
