Re: Two From Today

Roughly speaking it's caused by over-manipulation which results in deterioration of the image quality. This causes a reduction in the number of tones + colours produced in the final image, and the effect of this is that colours appear blotchy. HTH

Re: Two From Today

Posterization is when the colour gradients don't look natural. It is due to there being too few tones. It is used deliberately in graphics posters.

I like 2 best, #1 is a bit cluttered.
