Twycross Zoo
Managed to get out and test the 70-200 IS 2.8 at the zoo yesterday.
To be honest I wasn't that comfortable walking round taking pictures .......didn't realise how difficult it was too with fences, glass (children ) etc. Here are some a just quickly edited..........it's the first time I've taken pictures of animals so any advice greatly appreciated; ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by P-E : 29-04-2007 at 11:25. |

Re: Twycross Zoo
Spot-on P-E
Best advice I can give is not to take any more pictures. Then if I ever get to try to take any, I won't have such a high bar to get over. |

Re: Twycross Zoo
Great shots Ian, perfectly executed! But why (do you think), didn't you feel comfortable taking pictures?

Re: Twycross Zoo
A beautiful set of shots here P-E, crackers all.
One tiny comment, have you checked within the eye of the top meerkat to see if there is some detail there? If there is, I would suggest lightening it slightly to bring it out. It's the only weak point I can see in the whole set, lovely work. Cheers, Rob |
