Like the daisy Wee Scot - but the feather is a little blown ... at least on my screen !
Assume you have daisies now in Spain then ? Whereabouts are you en Espana ? |

Outside Seville! You don't happen to know anyone with a flat to rent for a weekend do you, my family are meeting my folks there weekend after next and am having trouble finding one as it's carnanval weeekend (so i'm told). We live 2 'n half hours down the road. I was there for a week a fortnight ago for the first time and loved it.
I'll have to look out some pics |

Nothing like full service, jeez not that flash. Just a 2 double bed flat and a kitchen would be perfect for a few nights. Just on the off chance you may happen to know of one? Been looking on web but Spanish sites aren't brill. found one last time tho (so hopeful), but booked now so can't use this time.

The daisy shot is definately the better of the two, better composition and exposure. If you'd used a wider aperture though you could've isolated it a bit more from the background. The shot with feather is definately blown in the highlight area. As explained above, it is over-exposed to the point where no detail is recorded in the highlight area. A quick check of the histogram after taking the shot can help avoid this, if there is a large spike at the far right hand side of the graph that is clipped off, then the highlights are blown.

I have re-sized for here the feather one, I lay down on sand to get it, loved the idea. I am new to all this, I switched to macro on my fuji E550, no other settings changed on it. Given time I will play more with settings ....here is org, feel free to edit please
