Re: Venice scenes
I had to check through my holiday photos when I saw the first pic Steve as I thought that I had one of the the very same bridge! (I visited Venice with my girlfriend last month). Both shots are v.good shots but I think I prefer the first one. It's difficult to take a bad pic in Venice (but I seemed to manage ok
) as each corner you turn gives you something else to photograph. It's brought back happy memories of having lunch by the Rialto Bridge.... TFS Mike |

Re: Venice scenes
Nice Steve, I prefer Nr.2 though ... something about the composition and colour of the gondolas ... lovely one !

Re: Venice scenes
Ven, I too prefer the second shot personally, although not typical of the narrow waterways it certainly is a well recognised and associated Venetian subject.
I have to agree with you Mike, it is very difficult to take a bad photograph in Venice as it is such a scenic place. These were taken about 5-6 weeks ago on my first visit there and exactly as you say, around every corner is another picture waiting to be taken. We had a lovelly 4 days there and are already planning our next trip ![]() Here are two more, this time of the colourful people that are seen in Venice. ![]()
