Quite like this one Mike
Only two points I would make are....... (1) There is some detail in that sky that could further be enhanced and brought out. (2) My eye is a little distracted by the two people walking down the hill. Thanks for sharing |

Agreed a lot of interest in here already ... not sure it needs the foreground people ? Good composition imho !

Great shot... agree about the sky. For my mind the two people just add to my enjoyment of this - makes me want to walk with them into the countryside...

The people add to the scene for me, you get the idea that they are intent on reaching the peak in the midground.
Great picture Mike |

It reminds me of a painting you'd expect to see in a country manor, the shot has that feel about it somehow. I like the people in it to be honest, looks like they have a long journey ahead.

I live right by there! The only picture I've ever had published was taken there! Would you mind if I posted it (or linked it) in this thread? I dont want to take anything away from your shot, which is pretty nice by the way! I think the olours really make the shot.

I agree about the sky, It was a fairly grey overcast day when I took this shot (last Saturday) and the sun was trying it's best to break through the clouds . I'll have a play with the original RAW image to see if I can get any more out of it.

Do a good job on the processing, the sky only needs darkening a tad, then get it framed and stick it on the wall.
Keep the foreground figures too.

I was going to say almost exactly wot Chuckles said....anyone would think we were a couple or summink
![]() I might add that if you remove the sky the people really are the feature of the scene, well for me anyway
