War Footage

Here's a selection of shots I took last Sat at Lulworth Castle, when the Civil War Society were having a weekend event.

The whole day was very well done, with events at the camp and in the castle that bought the period of history to life. Would recommend going if they do one near you. The cost was only the normal castle entry free, so in effect the extra war stuff was free.

One thing that did amuse me though, was the lack of deaths on either side till they'd all shot loads of rounds and charged several times with their weaponary!

Yes I quite like number 3 too, as it has a good amount of action, though I quite like #1 just cos I got that gun flash!

Very good shots, really can't find many things that give away that it's not from our time! Looks great fun and well captured. The only suspect thing is the bright blue plastic bag on the closest (left) guy in the last shot!

I think that's his rather naff attempt at medieval footware!

Great set - looks to recreate the 'fog of war' really well!

wow - nice set. no 4 is the best. no 1 is quite funny for me - foregound, people are concentraited on fireing, background, people are bored and chill out
