Water Droplets

Just did some experimenting with the Sigma, taking water droplets. I was very successful and came away with some images that I really like. They are spoiled only by the change in bg colour, which is annoying....
Flash, 1/500, f/5.6

Re: Water Droplets

supe stuff..... i gave up experimenting on this runny stuff they call water... couldnt get it for love nor money so in my book you have done exceptionally well!...... maybe using some coloured card etc next time behind the water would give you a better BG?

Great minds think alike, that is exactly what I was thinking about doing. Have plans to make a makeshift lightbox for macro work, so need some card for that anyway, will post again when I do it.

Glad you liked them.

Love this, was wondering about the marco capability of that lens and to be fair I think it looks pretty neat.

Thanks for sharing with us!

Yes, I would even go as far as to say it is one of its best features. If you want more info or example shots PM me. Even shots I haven't taken I will do for you if they are simple things to test the lens.
