Finally got my Sigma 70-300mm lens to play nice. Turns out my skylight filter was causing all the problems! Doh! I still get quite a few blurred shots, but I think thats down to me not being used to the settings to use with it etc.

This next one is a bit blurred, but just wondered if anyone knows what kind of birds these are?

I know this one is blurred, but I liked the horses legs off the ground.

I really love the first, but all of them are vibrant and bold. The blurring on the horse pic gives the feeling that that it's really covering the ground at a pace, and the the fact it's airborne only adds to that. If they were mine, I'd be well chuffed!

Thanks Oz. I am going back to tomorrow - emphasis on Hilbre Island and the unique wildlife that can be found there.
