Wetlands Centre
Went on an interesting talk thing about digiscoping, met a nice guy who posts on Nikonians, but the birds were too far away for my 70-300, so not many fowl...but some others, that I thought you might like!

Re: Wetlands Centre
The close-ups are well executed, and there is great feeling of space and airyness in #2. The pale green stalk in the bottom LH corner of the water lillies needs to be taken out, otherwise a very nice set Jack.

Re: Wetlands Centre
Your 2nd shot seems to have a crispy feeling as your round the corner, all very good. I tend to like most flower shots light and uncluttered, although your iris is quite stunning.

Re: Wetlands Centre
#1 Nicely isolated and with the added insect interest. Central comp works well - maybe clone out leaf top left?
#2 Maybe could do with something in addition to the patch of daisies #3 Definitely my favourite - iris is spot-on and like the verticals of the leaves on either side #4 Always difficult to get the exposure right - the bright water lilies making the BG too dark, but this works well |
