White Egret
These are some images I was lucky enough to take last year. I don't see many of these around. They are very wary of humans. I startled this one, and managed to fire a few snaps before he got away:

yep i agree they are certainly spectalcular, i think perhaps the only thing i would change is the amount of space the dird has to fly into.......... so not as tite a crop

The first one is a superb capture. Being predominantly a nature photographer (tho' some of you wouldn't believe that), I fully appreciate how difficult a capture like that is, not that anyone else doesn't, but I do...or something
