Winchester Cathedral

Took the 18-200 VR out for its maiden voyage yesterday

Here are the first few from inside Winchester Cathedral, all handheld with fill flash, wide aperture + slow shutter speed ... the VR on this baby is amazing

All C+C appreciated, TFL

I've commented on these in the gallery Charlotte. Great set and well worth the effort

#1 is the only one I'm not sure on - the others are really nice.

Graham, I wouldn't expect the abstract to be to everyone's taste; if no-one likes it then I'll know it doesn't work

Me too simpbow, I think I'm going to like this lens

Any comments on how to improve any of these would be appreciated. It can be tedious to do that in a thread with 5 photo's displayed at once, so anyone who'd like to comment on any of the individual shots, please head over to my gallery and comment away

Very good for interior shots in difficult light.

One possible improvement would be to correct lens distortion which you're bound to get with a wide-range zoom and which shows up on some of the shots - e.g. barrel distortion in #3.
