Haven't been out with the camera for a while now, so just catching up on the processing of some I took early January. Hope you don't mind.

Amazing - really love the first one, makes me want to hark back to christmas - wish we had snow like that, and I love the wide angle of the fifth one.
All excellent shots though Thanks for sharing |

I like the first one, and also the fourth one if it wasn't for the stray branches in the top left corner.
I find the mass of branches in #3 extremely difficult to look at. |

I really like your shots and the way you process them. Very Christmas-cardish
![]() Not too sure about the dark colours in the last one though. I do like the shot but there is something that doesn't feel quite right about it ![]() |

The usual great quality of seeing and capture with that trade mark process. My fave is probably no.3 as the muted tones around the small secion of warmth and streak of red is lovley. I may change my mind after a proper look later though. ![]() |

Thanks for the comments again, 3 is a tricky one to look at I agree but I do like the processing on it and the muted colours.
same shot but little closer, I nearly entered this in the BROKEN comp. ![]() But I prefer the others comp and colour. Thanks again. Ken. |

All great shots once again Ken, love your work! The first one really does it for me. I think I would like to see it all in black and white though.
Cheers, jules |

You certainly have a style all of your own Ken.
They all appeal to me. |

Love the 1st one Ken, but the 2nd one looks almost 3D to me, excellent. The only (small) prob I see with it is the "smudge" which looks almost like a fingerprint right in the middle of the sky. I wonder if this is an anomily thrown up by the (HDR/Photomatix???) process? I'm sure you could fix this in PS with the healing or cloning tool.
However, I really like the style of your shots here. Rich |

Thanks for the comments again.
Jewel, thanks! the first shot is all colour with no selective desaturation. BUT here is an all B/W for you. ![]() Have to say I think I prefer the colour. I tried to upload these in the order they were taken during that day BUT 4 & 5 need swapped. What started as a grey day changed by tea time as seen in the last pic, which I nearly didn't upload, as I didn't know how it would go down. The scene is nothing special but the colours were amazing at the time and the only reason for uploading. The first 2 pics were processed with Photomatix and then cs2, all the rest in cs2 only. Rich, didn't notice that and yes if not careful strange things like that can happen.....I try to look both ways when crossing the road, unfortunately it didn't help in this case. Thanks again. Ken. |

Isn't that funny, I thought that was selective colouring done on your part, hmm
Think I need to step away from the puter, lol ![]() I really like the black and white version myself. Excellent job there Ken! Jewel |

Ken,
I was'nt meaning to be picky or anything . Its still a great shot that I would be proud of. I downloaded the Photomatix demo, but havent had chance to play - so many things to learn...not enough time I'm afraid. |

I also prefer the color version of the first. All images are very well captured and presented. I am sensing some careful post-processing on all - taking them to another level. Nice work.
