Ah let me give you one explaination, my old man is a builder who rents a workshop with a similarly placed door so in his workshop the upstairs is used for storing timber, now try and get 10' lengths of 3x2" up there without that door!! The downstairs being used as joinery workshop without enough room for loads of timber. So i guess its a similar setup!

Don't see many smaller shops here in the USA, with bricks that is. That is interesting to me, but the T-bird jumper is a good one, if the bricks are really a little pink around the door,"it's hard to even guess" then I would imagine there has been a lot of jumping going on. eeeeek
